Kate Winslet is set to star in Labor Day, Deadline reports. The 35-year-old British actress â€świll play a single mother of a young son who takes in a stranger with a dangerous past. She falls in love with him over the course of Labor Day Weekend,â€ť according to the site. The flick will be a big screen adaptation of the Joyce Maynard novel, with Jason Reitman as director and screenwriter. Kate recently wrapped up production on her other projects, Contagion and Carnage. source: JustJarred
